American Family Rights Association is an organization which provides a national directory of existing groups and individuals who are working on issues concerning the rights of families, parents, and children.

Center for Research on Child Wellbeing
The Center for Research on Child Wellbeing (CRCW) conducts research on children's health, education, income, and family structure. Our faculty is made up of economists, sociologists, demographers, psychologists, and political scientists. The Center hosts visitors, supports postdoctoral fellows, and students at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Our goal is to promote basic research on children's wellbeing and link research to practice and public policy.

Child Trend
Child Trends is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to improving the lives of children by conducting research and providing science-based information to improve the decisions, programs, and policies that affect children and their families. In advancing its mission, Child Trends collects and analyzes data; conducts, synthesizes, and disseminates research; designs and evaluates programs; and develops and tests promising approaches to research in the field.

Children's Rights
Children's Rights is the nation's leading organization promoting and protecting the rights of abused and neglected children in failing foster care systems, using policy analysis, public education and the power of the courts.

Children's Rights Council
Children's Rights Council (CRC) works to assure a child the frequent, meaningful and continuing contact with two parents and extended family the child would normally have during a marriage. CRC works to strengthen families through education, favoring family formation and family preservation. CRC is genderless; they are not a women's group nor a men's group. Rather, CRC advocates for what they believe to be in the best interests of children.

Council on Contemporary Families
The Council on Contemporary Families (CCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the national conversation about what contemporary families need and how these needs can best be met. CCF has a membership consisting of national noted family researchers, mental health and social work practitioners, and clinicians.

This is probably the outstanding organization in the country dealing with fathers and their daughters. They are proactive on all major issues.

The website is designed to be the center for the most current scholarly work and news on the family and provides hundreds of articles and news for family unity and strength.

Family Group Conferencing (FGC), a restorative approach to problem-solving that involves the children, young persons and adults within families in making their own decisions. Family group conferencing began in the field of child welfare and youth justice, but is now used in mental health, education, domestic violence and other applications.

SPARC
The Separated Parenting Access & Resource Center (SPARC) strives to ensure that children of divorce continue to have meaningful relationships with both parents, regardless of marital status. SPARC advocates on behalf all non-custodial parents (especially fathers) to ensure they get equitable treatment in court and continued access to their children.
